That is me, too.
When I saw this in the Merc, I was reminded of a time years ago when we were at a dinner party. The host didn't recycle (the horror), so my son suggested we bag our bottles/ cans etc and bring them back just so we could re-cycle.

cooker, you have taught your son well. I wish I had the naivete to say that, but in my mind I have the same reaction when someone asks me to junk a can or bottle into their regular garbage.

Cooker, asha, trupti,
The last frame actually breaks my heart. It seems to suggest that no matter what we do, the problem is much bigger and out of our control.

The problem is big but we can chip away at it by talking about it as you are now and by being proactive. We may not have the $$ power that corporates have to make a difference but when we work together, our collective effort begins to make a dent.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving your kind comments. Please come back and visit soon.

By the way, you don't have to worry about the dust :) your place looks just great with the art you have created and displayed on your web page. The pics speak for themselves.

Adding you to my feeds.

Manisha, I agree about the collective power, though I admitedly do not do enough to spread the awareness about how we as individuals can take a little effort to help control the larger environmental issues at stake.
